Cue the base (singing) "Every day i'm Basel-ling..." With so many events popping up around town it's kind of hard to keep up with the who, what and where. Miami peeps go into full blown Art Fever the first week of December; it's our way of ringing in the Holidays...Miami style. It is said that Art ... "is the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power." In retrospect, Art is not only meant to be seen...but also... to be felt & experienced.

An exhibition by the Italian/Brazilian born artist and his conceptual representation of his time in prison. He expresses his experiences and emotions through different artistic mediums, such as painting and sculptures. While incarcerated, Roberto Ricieri created over 1,000 works of art using using acrylic on canvas, along drawing with pencil and carbon. The artist Ricieri just finished completing his sentence in June 2015 and will be sharing his story with Art lovers & collectors alike at the Ricieri Art studio.

The 3,000 sq ft warehouse located at 175 NW 25th St and 2nd Ave will be transformed into an interactive art & entertainment space that will feature 30+ contemporary Artist's and Designer's from around the world and they expect to host thousands of Art Collectors, as well as Enthusiasts much like last year, from Dec 1st to Dec 6th. What sets them apart from other shows is the diversity of voices from Emerging Artists & Veterans alike. The show allows the opportunity for art industry professionals and aficionados to network, engage and connect with veteran and emerging artists. Below are two of the most anticipated shows.
"ArteRotica" presents "The sweet spot" will take place on Wed. Dec 2 and it will be presented through poetry, comedy, music, runway, fashion & dance.
The other is the Def Jam Record's listening party for Jadakiss' new album #T5DOA (my husband's crazy about this one).
